Workshop on soldering
We run a series of skills workshops each year. They are aimed primarily at beginners, though many are suitable for more experiences modellers who are welcome to come and learn new skills.
All workshops begin at 5 pm and last for about 2 hours, usually there will be two different topics covered. We have one workshop each month, sometimes two. See the club calendar on the home page for ones scheduled for the next few months.
Courses cover a wide range of topics including track laying, layout design, soldering, how to wire the layout, building baseboards, backscenes, scenery, 3D printing, and weathering.
