From September 14 2020 we will have meetings at the club for up to 6 members of a group at a time, to be arranged as needed, but to comply with Covid-19 restrictions attendees must adhere to strict rules.
Farnham and District Model Railway Club (F&DMRC) meets every Wednesday from 2.00 pm to 9.00pm. Our clubroom is in the Wrecclesham Community Centre, Greenfield Road, Wrecclesham, Farnham, Surrey GU9 8TJ .

We have active groups in O, OO, P4 and N gauges, and a new group has just been started for 009. Our Greenfield Sidings OO gauge, Brixcombe P4, and Wickwar N gauge layouts already on the exhibition circuit, Haydon Square (O) is taking bookings, and a new OO gauge layout is currently being worked on. Club members also have interests in other scales and prototypes including gauge 1, 16mm, trams, and 2mm finescale.
The club has test tracks for OO, P4 and N gauge. We have at least 2 open days each year, and our big event is our exhibition every October. We also run a programme of demonstrations, presentations and events throughout the year.
New members are always welcome no matter whether an experienced modeller or just starting. Because we have several new members with little experience of railway modelling from time to time we run a series of 60 minute hands-on workshops on the basics of railway modelling.
Unfortunately there is no step-free access to the club room as it is not provided by the council, but there is wheelchair access to the main hall on Wednesday afternoons and we offer a reduced membership rate for those unable to go up the steps.
If you want to get involved in our club layouts and run your models why not come along one Wednesday and see what we do?
Explore the pages on this site to find out more about us, and if there is anything else you want to know or you want to come and visit us, please email us using the info address on the contacts page.
NOTE: If you want to invite one of one of our layouts to your exhibition, please use the email address for that group instead.
