Farnham and District Model Railway Club (F&DMRC) meets every Wednesday from 2.00 pm to 9.00pm. Our clubroom is in the Wrecclesham Community Centre, Greenfield Road, Wrecclesham, Farnham, Surrey GU9 8TJ .

New members are always welcome no matter whether an experienced modeller or just starting. We run 60 minute hands-on workshops on the basics of railway modelling every alternate Wednesday aimed mainly at less experienced modellers.
We have active groups in O, OO, P4, 009, and N gauges. Our Brixcombe P4 layout is currently being extended, the N gauge group are working on a new model of Okehampton while still exhibiting Wickwar, the OO group have a new layout Hazelbury which has just started being exhibited, the O gauge group have Haydon Square on the exhibition circuit, and the OO9 group have modules that can be exhibited in various combinations. Club members also have interests in other scales and prototypes including gauge 1, 16mm, trams, and 2mm finescale. Two members are currently building a private 3mm scale layout, working on it in the clubroom.
The club has test tracks for O, OO, P4 and N gauge. We have at least 2 open days each year, and our big event is our exhibition every October. We also run a programme of demonstrations, presentations and events throughout the year.
Unfortunately there is no step-free access to the club room as it is not provided by the council, but there is wheelchair access to the main hall on Wednesday afternoons and we offer a reduced membership rate for those unable to go up the steps.
If you want to get involved in our club layouts and run your models why not come along one Wednesday and see what we do?
