FROM ALDERSHOT STATION

Note: bus route 15 has changed again since our last exhibition, it now stops close to the railway station, Stop J.

It is about about 1.5 miles and can be walked, or you can take bus 15 which runs every 20 minutes on Saturday and every hour on Sunday. Stop J is as close to the railway station as is possible with all the building works in progress, you need a bus going to Tices Meadow. Get off at the “Tices Meadow, Tongham Road” stop which is in Chestnut Avenue (called Chestnut Avenue on some timetables). Walk to the end of Chestnut Avenue, in the same direction the bus is travelling, turn right, and the entrance is 50 yards ahead on left. Click here for the timetable. The Stagecoach web site can be confusing as it shows the timetable in two parts while the route is really circular and the stop you want is on the way back. As the 15 bus takes a meandering route it often shows a bus that is faster but involves a lot more walking.

On the return journey get on at the same stop and off at the station, the route back is a little shorter.

FROM A323

From A323 exit of A331 Follow A323 about 300 metres towards Aldershot. Stay in left lane, and turn left at the traffic lights, by the Vauxhall car showroom, into Farnham Road and take the second left into Tongham Road. At the roundabout take the second exit, still Tongham Road. Leisure centre entrance is on the right hand side after about 300 metres.

FROM ALDERSHOT / FARNBOROUGH

From Aldershot/Farnborough Follow A323 through Aldershot, variously named Wellington Avenue, High Street and Ash Road. After passing drive-in burger bar, Aldershot FC, and passing under the railway bridge, continue following A323 for about 2/3 mile to traffic lights with Sainsbury’s on near right and Vauxhall car showroom on far right corners. Unfortunately you cannot turn right here, so stay in left lane and cross the lights. Take the first left, then first left again and follow the road round to the left to approach the same lights from a different direction. Cross over lights into Farnham Road and take second left. Proceed to the roundabout and take the second exit, still Tongham Road. Leisure centre entrance is on right hand side after about 300 metres. From M3, Junction 4, or A30 Camberley/Blackwater Take A331 dual carriageway South to Aldershot (Blackwater Valley Route). A331 is signposted to Aldershot, Farnham and Guildford. About 5 miles south of the M3, take A323 exit effectively turning right to Aldershot and Guildford. Follow AA signs to exhibition or use the directions above.

FROM A31

From A31 Guildford/Farnham Take A331 dual carriageway North to Aldershot (Blackwater Valley Route). A331 is signposted to M3, Aldershot and Camberley. Take A323 exit after about a mile effectively turning left, and follow AA signs to exhibition or use the directions above.
